First off, Club Penguin has released a new Log In Screen!, Check it out:

The 12,000 coins are for penguins who get a year membership in December. You can get the coins too if you renew your membership. This is only in December from the 9th – 31st. This is pretty exciting, you can for this month buy a 1 year membership and get 12,000 coins. Awesome don’t you think?
